Questions after WandaVision Episode 8

1. Which side is Agatha on?
Agatha leading Wanda back through previous horrors could be seen as trying to understand more about what makes her "tick", which could be read as her trying to help Wanda. But the episode ended with Agatha holding Wanda's kids hostage. 

2. Where's Monica?
After being caught by Pietro in the mid-credit scene in Episode 7, Monica is nowhere to be found in Episode 8. My guess is she'll show up in the finale in some form. 

3. Will Billy and Tommy be okay?
I hope so, especially considering that if Marvel's plans for the Young Avengers take shape I can see Tommy and Billy joining Hawkeye's Kate Bishop, Ironheart's Riri Williams and Ms. Marvel's Imani Khan. The one upside I can see from their situation at the end of the most recent episode is I can see that as more of a "restrain" thing rather than the "absorbing the life force" thing Agatha did back in Salem at the beginning of the episode. 

4. How exactly will this move into No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen. It's going to be a bumpy finale with potentially the longest runtime.
We've known for a while that WandaVision will be the first part of a three-part arc, with the climax in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the resolution coming in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, we're one episode away from the conclusion of part one and I've seen nothing so far that would require Peter Parker or Stephen Strange to help out, which would mean that episode nine will be incredibly action packed.

Thoughts on the Mysterious Benedict Society- Episodes 1 and 2

Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi deserve a ton of credit for writing Sticky's first scene in the pilot episode. In this brief clip, he gets a prize-money check but his parents take it away immediately. This, of course, is a reference to his backstory from the first book where his parents- after his increasing quiz show success- become more focused on the prizes he brings home than on his well-being. Episode 2 features a brief but very well-written moment courtesy of the same duo that beautifully captures Martina Crowe's personality, where she glares around the classroom and causes her fellow students to lower their raised hands. This is very much in keeping with Martina's "don't cross me" book personality.

Why the MCU shouldn't recast T'Challa

T'Challa should remain Chadwick Boseman's role, and- at least in my opinion- casting another actor sort of dampens his legacy in that regard. I don't want this to be the same thing as Bruce Banner (remember Edward Norton in Incredible Hulk ?) or James Rhodes (remember Terrence Howard in Iron Man ?). One, and only one, person should portray T'Challa- the late Chadwick Boseman. Not having a T'Challa in the Black Panther sequel will allow the cast to grieve and mourn and honor- whichever they feel is appropriate- the life and legacy of both T'Challa (when cameras are rolling) and Chadwick (when cameras aren't rolling). Adding another actor as T'Challa- I think- would provide a "back to business as usual" vibe whereas keeping T'Challa's spot in Wakanda empty would allow the grieving process to continue on the actors' terms before, during and after filming, which in this regard I think is important.
