What projects can go the Karate Kid -- Cobra Kai route?

1. From Cool Runnings to a TV series about a Kingston Winter Olympics Youth Development program. The photo seen at the end of the movie can be hung in the lobby of the building, for starters.

2. The Big Green can move into an exchange student from England (a callback to the original film with an exchange teacher from England) reigniting her classmates' interest in soccer, which can eventually grow into the Elma Soccer Academy. Plus, there's potential for a connection with Ted Lasso if the exchange student says something like "yeah, my cousin/brother plays for AFC Richmond". 
*Update: with Ted Lasso having (for now) ended, the "my cousin plays for AFC Richmond" could at least show that this series exists in the same universe. 

3. Coach Carter could transition to effectively the same situation at Richmond High now but in reverse- the boys' team is now a multiple-time national champion with the girls' team having just concluded a fourth-straight two-win season and facing financial issues to boot when a new student joins the team. 

4. The Breakfast Club could go the family route with the daughter of Andrew and the son of  Claire starting their freshman year at Shermer High.

5. Although a 2010s series, the adventures in Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2 could continue with Clearwater Marine, focused on the Clearwater Marine Aquarium featured in the movie- think Grey's Anatomy but with animals. 

6. The (mis?)adventures featured in the Pitch Perfect trilogy can continue with two potential series- Crushed It (following the new members of the Barden Bellas) and Residual Heat (the day-to-day adventures of the recording studio Becca interned at in Pitch Perfect 2).

Thoughts on the Mysterious Benedict Society- Episodes 1 and 2

Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi deserve a ton of credit for writing Sticky's first scene in the pilot episode. In this brief clip, he gets a prize-money check but his parents take it away immediately. This, of course, is a reference to his backstory from the first book where his parents- after his increasing quiz show success- become more focused on the prizes he brings home than on his well-being. Episode 2 features a brief but very well-written moment courtesy of the same duo that beautifully captures Martina Crowe's personality, where she glares around the classroom and causes her fellow students to lower their raised hands. This is very much in keeping with Martina's "don't cross me" book personality.

Why the MCU shouldn't recast T'Challa

T'Challa should remain Chadwick Boseman's role, and- at least in my opinion- casting another actor sort of dampens his legacy in that regard. I don't want this to be the same thing as Bruce Banner (remember Edward Norton in Incredible Hulk ?) or James Rhodes (remember Terrence Howard in Iron Man ?). One, and only one, person should portray T'Challa- the late Chadwick Boseman. Not having a T'Challa in the Black Panther sequel will allow the cast to grieve and mourn and honor- whichever they feel is appropriate- the life and legacy of both T'Challa (when cameras are rolling) and Chadwick (when cameras aren't rolling). Adding another actor as T'Challa- I think- would provide a "back to business as usual" vibe whereas keeping T'Challa's spot in Wakanda empty would allow the grieving process to continue on the actors' terms before, during and after filming, which in this regard I think is important.
