Who, exactly, are Rey's parents?

Thanks to 2019's The Rise of Skywalker, we know that Rey's grandfather is Palpatine (I'm not going to get into the logistics of that here, that's just saying that there's a missing generation between Palpatine and Rey).

We got some clues in the first two installments in the sequel trilogy as to who her parents were but they weren't really conclusive. We know that Rey was probably born on Jakku to parents who then sold or abandoned her for scrap, but nothing more conclusive then that. 

Which leads us to some other questions:
First off, who, exactly, are her parents? And why do they not want to be found out?
Which of her parents is the son or daughter of Palpatine?
How exactly did her parents meet each other?

And some other questions off of this?
Which upcoming TV show could explore this? My choice would be the upcoming Book of Boba Fett show, which could see the title character explore Jakku a little further than the movies did.

Potential Non-Arrowverse Crossover Idea

Borrowing from the 5th Wave movie, a really cool potential idea would be an hourlong special ( potentially from 9p Eastern to 10p Eastern one night? Maybe?) detailing the alien ship from that film passing over the various states in the U.S. This would be a BEHEMOTH ship, as the width would easily be the length from the Canada-Washington border to the very southern tip of California.  9p-9:20p- My idea would have it first move over Los Angeles ( 9-1-1 ) and Seattle ( Grey's Anatomy and Station 19 ) simultaneously.  9:20p-9:40p- Next, Texas would see it, which would bring 9-1-1: Lone Star into the mix.  And the final twenty minutes of the hour would see the Chicago trio (Fire, Med and P.D.) see the ship pass over Illinois.  I just had this idea last night and it might be super complicated but also super cool to pull off, as it would need the cooperation of seven different writers' rooms and also potentially three different TV networks (see below): 9p-9:20p: 9-1-1 ...

Thoughts on the Mysterious Benedict Society- Episodes 1 and 2

Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi deserve a ton of credit for writing Sticky's first scene in the pilot episode. In this brief clip, he gets a prize-money check but his parents take it away immediately. This, of course, is a reference to his backstory from the first book where his parents- after his increasing quiz show success- become more focused on the prizes he brings home than on his well-being. Episode 2 features a brief but very well-written moment courtesy of the same duo that beautifully captures Martina Crowe's personality, where she glares around the classroom and causes her fellow students to lower their raised hands. This is very much in keeping with Martina's "don't cross me" book personality.
