Who do I think should be in the Percy Jackson writers' room, if not Titley and Guggenheim?

Some ideas: Chris McKenna and Eric Sommers wrote scripts for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Ant-Man and the Wasp, the lone script credit for Spider-Man: Far from Home, and are the lone credited screenwriters for Spider-Man: No Way Home  Christopher L. Yost, who was a credited solo writer for Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok  The duo of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the only credited writers for all three Captain America films in addition to Infinity War and Endgame  Drew Pearce co-wrote Iron Man 3 in addition to being the solo writer for the short film All Hail the King  Eric Pearson, who was a solo writer for Thor: Ragnarok, the lone credited writer for the upcoming film Black Widow, and in addition wrote the short films The Consultant, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer, Item 47 and Agent Carter   James Gunn, who co-wrote Guardians of the Galaxy and was the solo writer for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2  Jon Favreau was th...

My thoughts on the Percy Jackson TV show

Firstly, I understand this is going to be a controversial opinion, but I think that anyone that was in the cast for either of the two "films" shouldn't be cast in the TV series- I want the Disney+ rendition to be as much of a "clean slate" as possible. This includes but isn't limited to Logan Lerman (Percy), Douglas Smith (Tyson), Alexandra Daddario (Annabeth), Brandon T. Jackson (Grover), Bjorn Yearwood as the young version of Grover Underwood, Nathan Fillion (Hermes), Leven Rambin (Clarisse), Stanley Tucci (Dionysus), Anthony Head (Chiron in the second film), Grey Damon (Chris Rodriguez), Pierce Brosnan (Chiron in the first film), Kevin McKidd (Poseidon), Alisha Newton as the young version of Annabeth Chase, Jake Abel (Luke), Rosario Dawson (Persephone), Uma Thurman (Medusa), Sean Bean (Zeus), Robert Knepper who voiced Kronos, Steve Coogan (Hades), Catherine Keener (Sally Jackson), Joe Pantoliano (Gabe Ugliano) or even Octavia Spencer (Martha, one of the s...

1. The Fast and the Furious  2. 2 Fast 2 Furious 3. Fast and Furious 4. Fast Five 5. Fast and Furious 6   6. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift  7. Furious 7 8. The Fate of the Furious

Grab Bag

Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will see Sam and Bucky meet Helmut Zemo for his first MCU appearance since Captain America: Civil War in 2016. There's also the fact that Sam will be without his drone Redwing for at least the next fight sequence.  The Jujutsu Kaisen movie will officially be adapting the prequel series before the main manga.  The worlds of Vikings and The Witcher are getting expansions. The Witcher , which is currently in the process of filming the second season for Netflix, is in the casting process for a prequel unofficially titled Blood Origin but officially titled The Witcher: Blood Origin set about twelve centuries before the main show. Meanwhile, Vikings will be getting a spinoff series titled Valhalla .  New details have been announced as far as casting goes for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series for the Star Wars universe. In addition to Kenobi and Darth Vader returning for a limited series set a decade after Revenge of the Sit...

Potential Hotel Hell Spinoff Idea

The hotels featured on Hotel Hell seem to be slightly more successful than the restaurants featured on Kitchen Nightmares , as a higher percentage of them seem to remain open.  With than in mind, here's an idea for a potential spinoff series called Hotel Heaven, where Gordon can revisit some of the hotels featured on the program that are still open, which include: 1. Keating Hotel (San Diego, California) 2. Roosevelt Inn (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) 3. Meson de Mesilla (Las Cruces, New Mexico)  4. Applegate River Lodge (Applegate, Oregon) 5. Hotel Chester (Starkville, Mississippi)  6. Calumet Inn (Pipestone, Minnesota)  7. Four Seasons Inn/Layla's Riverside Lodge (West Dover, Vermont) …Among others

Even More Ideas

1. A potential Kitchen Nightmares spinoff titled Kitchen Nightmares No More, where he revisits the restaurants featured on the original series that are still open. Footage from the original visits can be used.  2. An idea for American Ninja Warrior Junior - the season finals can take place on the first qualifier course for American Ninja Warrior . This would be a unique way to tie the two series together and be a stepping-off point for ANWJ contestants that want to move on to ANW.

Potential for Kitchen Nightmares: Revisited

There are several Kitchen Nightmares restaurants that are actually still open, like the Olde Hitching Post in Hanson, Massachusetts and Pantaleone's in Denver, Colorado. So why not have Gordon Ramsay revisit them and post footage of his visits on his YouTube channel?

Ideas for Holey Moley

Season 3: Have the winners of the first two seasons receive semifinal byes Season 4: Have the winners of the second and third seasons receive semifinal byes while the broadcast booth is expanded to include the season one winner Season 5: Have the season two winner earn a quarterfinal bye while the season three and four winners will have semifinal byes; the season one winner will still be on the broadcast booth Season 6: The season two winner will move to the broadcast booth; the season one winner will move to conducting interviews; the season three winner will co-host with Steph Curry; the season four and five winners will have semifinal byes Season 7: Season four winner will move to the broadcast booth; the season three winner will conduct interviews; the season two winner and season one winner will co-host with Steph Curry; the season five and six winners will receive semifinal byes

Potential Food Parodies

Hunger Games President Snowpea (Snow)  Cloves (Clove)  Kale (Gale) Hawthorne  Star Wars Yogurt (Yoda) Qui-Gon Gin (Jinn) Ahsoka Taco (Tano) General Hops (Hux) Boba and Jango  Feta (Fett)  Darth Tater (Vader)  Millennium Scallion (Falcon) Chew broccoli (Chewbacca) Cuc (Luke) Skywalker Obi-Wan Cannoli (Kenobi)

Potential Clearwater Marine series- what should happen?

Basic Plot: The day-to-day operations and personal lives of the staff of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, following the events of Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2 . Note: I'm not saying who will return, I'm saying who should return. Nothing's set in stone yet and no scripts are being put together.    Who should return? 1. Harry Connick Jr. as Dr. Clay Haskett, the CMA director. 2. Nathan Gamble as Sawyer Nelson. 3. Cozi Zuehlsdorff as Hazel Haskett.  How should the series start? Since Gamble is 23 and Zuehlsdorff is 22, the series should start on Zuehlsdorff's first official day at Clearwater after graduating college a month prior, with Gamble starting his second year. It should also be implied that Sawyer and Hazel are boyfriend-girlfriend.

What projects can go the Karate Kid -- Cobra Kai route?

1. From Cool Runnings to a TV series about a Kingston Winter Olympics Youth Development program. The photo seen at the end of the movie can be hung in the lobby of the building, for starters. 2. The Big Green can move into an exchange student from England (a callback to the original film with an exchange teacher from England) reigniting her classmates' interest in soccer, which can eventually grow into the Elma Soccer Academy. Plus, there's potential for a connection with Ted Lasso if the exchange student says something like "yeah, my cousin/brother plays for AFC Richmond".  *Update: with Ted Lasso having (for now) ended, the "my cousin plays for AFC Richmond" could at least show that this series exists in the same universe.  3. Coach Carter could transition to effectively the same situation at Richmond High now but in reverse- the boys' team is now a multiple-time national champion with the girls' team having just concluded a fourth-straight two...

What do I want to see in upcoming MCU projects?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - How can Scott Lang punch with enough power to knock someone backwards while shrunken and yet is able to ride an ant without crushing it?  Black Panther 2 - Will Shuri take the Black Panther mantle? And will the movie revisit Oakland again? And what all came out of the United Nations speech?  Captain Marvel 2 - What's the base of Monica Rambeau's apparent rift with Carol Danvers? Hawkeye - What's his reason for passing the mantle to Kate Bishop?  She-Hulk : What role will Emil Blonsky/Abomination exactly have in the series? And what has he been up to since 2008?  Spider-Man: No Way Home - Will the multiverse at least be introduced in this movie? And how normal, exactly, will Peter's school experience be?     The Eternals - What exactly has Agatha Harkness been up to in that wide space of time between Salem and Westview? And how was she able to put her basement together?

I'm suspicious of the new Captain America

The ending of the premiere episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier raised a number of eyebrows when a new Captain America was unveiled. While other people might talk about #NotMyCap, my talking point here lies somewhere else entirely- not the Cap himself, but who presented him. Does anyone remember the 2014 film Captain America: The Winter Soldier , where Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff discover that H.Y.D.R.A. has infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. and even some levels of government (i.e. Senator Stern whispering "hail Hydra" to Jasper Sitwell)?  I'm thinking much of the same is in play here, and although it's been only one episode, my theory stems from the timing of the announcement.  I promise this will be the only time my blog dips into anything even remotely political, but do you remember Trump's tweeting pattern of baiting the media, where he'd tweet something out to distract them from something slightly more critical? This strikes me as being in slight...

Questions I hope the MCU answers

Is Mordo a villain? This one we might actually get answers to sooner rather than later, given that Chiwetel Ejiofor himself has reportedly filmed some bits for The Multiverse of Madness . For those of you who don't remember the ending to the original 2016 film, one of the post-credits scenes showed Mordo stripping Pangborn of the power he used to walk, telling him that the Earth already has "too many sorcerers". However, he wasn't seen in Stephen Strange's next couple of appearances in Thor: Ragnarok , Infinity War or Endgame . So this is actually two different questions: What has Mordo been up to since re-paralyzing Jonathan Pangborn in 2016? And two, is he a villain?  Where did White Vision go to? One of the scenes in the WandaVision finale involved the previously-robotic White Vision getting his memories back, getting color in his eyes again instead of blankness, and flying off for points unknown. However, it's unclear where, exactly, he went- or, for tha...

A potential Harry Potter series idea

For a potential from-the-book adaptation, i.e. each chapter is one episode and each book one season, I came up with a way to fix the school subjects plothole: why are they never learning regular school subjects? My idea is as follows: find some way to include core curriculum subjects into the Hogwarts classes. Astronomy: Science here is self-explanatory. Care of Magical Creatures: Biology topics.  Flying Lessons: Some science here, mainly beginning physics.  Herbology: Science in terms of botany, but also some biology concepts.  History of Magic: History here would be self-explanatory, but economics and civics can also be explored regarding various topics.  Muggle Studies: The perfect opportunity to introduce Econ and Civics concepts for third years and higher (and another opportunity to be a refresher on these concepts if they fell asleep in Binns' classes).  Potions: Science in terms of basic chemistry in addition to concepts like mixtures and compounds, and a...

The Avengers: Next Generation

The Avengers from 2012 Black Widow Captain America Hawkeye Hulk Iron Man  Thor  The 2012 Avengers post-Endgame Hawkeye Hulk is now Professor Hulk Thor  The Avengers next cast Kamala Khan ( Ms. Marvel ) Kate Bishop ( Hawkeye )  Riri Williams ( Ironheart ) Maybe Tommy and Billy, which would bring it up to five And maybe Peter Parker as the leader of the group

Just some questions about the MCU

Is Peter Parker in line to lead the new iteration of the Avengers? And who else would be in the group outside of Kamala Khan, Riri Williams and Kate Bishop?  Are Tommy and Billy still in Marvel's Young Avengers plans? Who actually ran Wakanda in the five years between Infinity War and Endgame ? Is Mysterio actually dead? And how did he doctor the video footage?  How did Shuri get so tech-savvy?  Do the four tribes that combined in Wakanda have some sort of tribal government? Have any females challenged for the Black Panther mantle? Is there a minimum age or other restrictions? Where did White Vision go after the WandaVision finale? What did Agatha get into between 1600s Salem and Westview, New Jersey a month after the Blip? How can Ant-Man punch with considerable force while shrunken but he can ride an ant without crushing it?

The Chronological MCU- Complete Viewing Guide

Captain America is first, as it takes place in World War II, with the short film Agent Carter set one year later.  Captain Marvel , set in 1995, is second in viewing order. Next is Iron Man . Iron Man 2 , Incredible Hulk and Thor technically take place in the same week. However, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer is set before Thor ; and The Consultant is set after both Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 . So here I would recommend watching (in this order) Iron Man 2 , Incredible Hulk , The Consultant , A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer , and then Thor .  The Avengers is next with a sequel short film Item 47 , followed by Iron Man 3 (and sequel short film All Hail the King ) and Thor: Dark World . Winter Soldier is next, followed by the two Guardians of the Galaxy films back-to-back.  Age of Ultron and Ant-Man both take place in 2015. Civil War is next, followed soon after by Spider-Man: Homecoming .  Doctor Strange takes pl...

Potential British soap opera crossovers

Why hasn't this been done? I think it would be a real treat for viewers, proving that all of these shows exist in an interconnected universe. There's Emmerdale . There's EastEnders . There's Hollyoaks . There's the long-running classic Coronation Street . There's also Neighbors and Casualty and Holby City . As with a potential Casualty - General Hospital crossover, I'm almost certain there's a way or two to connect these seven shows.

Potential UK-US TV show crossovers

Hear me out on this one.  Britain has Casualty , in addition to spinoff Holby City .  The U.S. has the long-running General Hospital in addition to Grey's Anatomy .  There's also 9-1-1 and its spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star . In addition, there's Chicago Med . General Hospital would, I think, be the closest for an intercontinental crossover with Grey's Anatomy next depending on when it ends.  It might be a bit difficult, especially with COVID protocols in place in regards to both TV show sets and international travel, but wouldn't it be super cool to see Casualty - which has been on British screens since 1986- team up in some form with General Hospital - which has graced American screens since 1963- in an intercontinental story arc?

Potential Ideas I have

1. In the upcoming Ahsoka series, the title character could travel to Canto Bight and meet the maybe-force-sensitive "broom boy" featured in the Last Jedi ending.  2. Potential Friends expansions- an Adventures of Science-Boy webcomic and a Phoebe Buffay songbook. 3. Potential Potterverse expansions- A live-action Quidditch through the Ages adaptation, an animated Tales of Beedle the Bard adaptation, a hardcover Hogwarts: a History, a comic book or webcomic series on The Adventures of Martin Miggs, Mad Muggle. 4. There actually is a book out, so maybe Netflix could pick up the rights- Stranger Tides , which is essentially a National Treasure prequel. 5. A live-action adaptation of the Journeyman book series, starting with the first book, Matt Miller in the American Colonies .  6. More Carl Hiaasen books need to make the leap to the screen, if they haven't already- Scat and Flush and Chomp , for instance. 7. Zootopia  Albums- collections of songs by the artists fe...

Questions I still have about animated films

Big Hero 6 : How long did it take for Yama to rise through the robot-fighting ranks? Is Lotso from Toy Story 3 the same bear briefly seen in Up ? This could be verifiable, given that Up was released in 2009 and Toy Story 3 came out in 2010.  How did Sid's skull-and-crossbones T-shirt from Toy Story become a popular fashion choice in Inside Out ? Pixar: How exactly did Pizza Planet expand effectively everywhere on Earth- even Mexico?   Toy Story 4 : I want the backstory on every item in the antique shop- the stuffed barracuda on the wall, the Carl's Jr. lunchbox, the Finding Nemo diving goggles, Carl's cane, the picture of Gerri from Gerri's Game , etc.  Lilo and Stitch : How did Nani learn about Mulan's exploits in ancient China, given that she has a poster of the character in her bedroom? Or did she just see the movie which would've come out four years prior?  Animated movie timeline: If we assume that Big Hero 6 and Wall-E take place in the same timeline...

Questions upcoming movies can answer

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania I need a definitive answer on this one- consult with some physicists if need be. Ant-Man can do serious damage with a punch while shrunk, but he's able to ride an ant without crushing it. I need an explanation, Marvel.  Captain Marvel 2 What exactly is the reason behind the apparent rift between Danvers and Rambeau?  Sing 2 Where exactly is the New Moon Theater? Find some way to insert map coordinates into the script.

What do I want to see in the "What If..." series

What if... Peter Parker had kept the E.D.I.T.H. glasses? Justin Hammer hadn't broken Vanko out of prison? Spider-Man's real identity hadn't been revealed?  James Rhodes hadn't taken a prototype Iron Man suit? Hawkeye didn't have a safe house in Age of Ultron ? Tony Stark had actually built the Jericho missile in captivity? Stephen Strange hadn't surrendered the time stone? Ego hadn't revealed how Peter's mom died? Tony Stark had ridden with James Rhodes? Hope had taken on the Ant-Man suit?  Tony Stark hadn't shut down weapons manufacturing? Hope hadn't learned how her mom died?  Tony Stark hadn't broadcast his home address? Steve Rogers had signed the Sokovia Accords? Bucky hadn't fallen off of the train? T'Challa had defeated Killmonger? Justin Hammer hadn't broken Vanko out of prison? Steve Rogers hadn't tried to re-enlist? Tony Stark had handed over the Iron Man suit? Steve Rogers hadn't jumped on the grenade? T'Cha...

Potential MCU Biography/Backstory Project Ideas

Either to fill in some backstory details or to catalog a very productive life  Ancient One, Baby Groot, Bruce Banner, Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, Emil Blonsky, Betty Brant, Helen Cho, Phil Coulson, Carol Danvers, Drax, Jane Foster, Nick Fury, Gamora, Groot, Justin Hammer, Heimdall, Maria Hill, Harley Keeener, Erik Killmonger, Ulysses Klaue, Kraglin, Cassie Lang, Scott Lang, Loki Laufeyson, Ned Leeds, Darcy Lewis, Mantis, Pietro Maximoff, Wanda Maximoff, M'Baku, Baron Mordo, Mysterio, Nakia, Nebula, Okoye, Odin, Taserface, Teenage Groot, Thor Odinson, Jonathan Pangborn, Peter Parker, Pepper Potts, Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Maria Rambeau, Monica Rambeau, James Rhodes, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Erik Selvig, Shuri, Jasper Sitwell, Howard Stark, Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, Anton Vanko, Ivan Vanko, Sam Wilson, Jimmy Woo, Yondu    Which of these would you want to see? Did I miss any? Comment below.

What do I want to see in the Wakanda series?

How unanimous was the decision in the river tribe not to join the four-tribe alliance? When did people in Wakanda first recognize the uses of vibranium? What happened during T'Challa's five year absence? Are there any restrictions- like a minimum age, for instance- as to who can challenge the king?  What is day-to-day life like in each of the five tribes? In the four tribes that joined forces, do they have the equivalent of city government if T'Challa is like the governor of a particular state? Who was the first Black Panther and why did he first take up the mantle? I'm pulling for Shuri to become the new Black Panther, but has the mantle been an all-male symbol? Have females challenged for it? Are there any restrictions on travel between various tribes?  What's trade like between tribes?  Are any other languages besides Xhosa spoken in Wakanda?

Rapid-fire Questions about the MCU

1. Where did White Vision go?  2. How can Scott Lang punch someone while shrunk with enough force to move them backwards but he doesn't crush an ant when he rides it?  3. What happened to Jonathan Pangborn?  4. When and why did Howard Stark found Stark Industries? 5. How did Heimdall get the job as Bifrost gatekeeper?  6. Is Wanda reading the Darkhold for research or to study the spells? 7. Will Dormammu show up in the Doctor Strange sequel? Will Kaecilius?   8. Will Steve Rogers show up in an advisory role in the upcoming Falcon/Winter Soldier series? 9. Will Justin Hammer or Thaddeus Ross show up in the series?

State of the MCU

With The Falcon and the Winter Soldier debuting next weekend, let's recap both some new developments and what we already know about the stacked-to-the-gills Marvel Cinematic Universe. 1. White Vision is who-knows-where but will surely factor into the MCU moving forward. During the finale episode of WandaVision , hex Vision (HV) and White Vision (WV) had a philosophical argument concerning Theseus' ship. When they came to the conclusion that neither of them was the real Vision, HV gave WV some of his memories. WV's eyes regained some color- perhaps a sign that he was moving past emotionless robot- and he flew off to parts unknown. I'm hoping his stay in the MCU isn't done, but you never know... 2. Monica Rambeau is headed to space... The first of two credits scenes in WV's finale showed Monica talk to a Skrull in the Westview movie theater, who tells her that "a friend of her mother's" wants to see her, then points upwards (she didn't say ...

Side characters in Hamilton that deserve spin-off projects

The stage-and-filmed musical Hamilton has become a pop-culture phenomenon since it first debuted in 2015, and there are a number of ensemble characters that weren't really explored all that much on the stage. I'm not saying there have to be whole plays about them, but maybe short stories or short films or graphic novels of something. 1. Charles Lee C. Lee was seen in a bad light in the play due to his constant cries of "retreat" at the Battle of Monmouth and subsequent duel, but then he was never mentioned again. What was his backstory? Why did he join the Army? What was it about him that made George Washington pick him over Hamilton? Did he survive the duel?  2. Samuel Seabury This Loyalist public speaker had one song in Act One and was then one of several ensemble characters. Why was he a Loyalist? How long had he felt that way? Was his family Loyalist as well or was he the outlier? 3. Maria and James Reynolds The reason I'm putting these two together is becaus...

Potential Harry Potter TV Adaptation Cont'd- Question Marks from the Movies

One of the big upsides to a TV show format as opposed to a movie format is that TV shows don't have time constraints- they have as much time as they need to tell a story- or, in the case of a potential Harry Potter adaptation where each chapter is one episode- to expand on things mentioned in the books that the movies either left out or glossed over.  So these are some things that the series could explain, in other words) First Batch (courtesy of a May 20, 2018 ScreenRant article) The Potterverse 1. Why don't villains (big ones, I think, like Grindelwald or Voldemort) use the Unbreakable Vow with their followers? It's quite simple- if you break it, you die (and as the article explains, Voldemort already branded his followers with the Dark Mark).  2. If Azkaban prisoners give up their wands after being sentenced, how did Sirius and Bellatrix get theirs back? This seems like it was just done for plot purposes.  3. To paraphrase- if wizards have cars and radios, why do they ...

Potential Book-by-Book Harry Potter TV Show Ideas

With each book one season and each chapter one episode... Sorcerer's Stone *Mrs. Figg being introduced  *Harry's uses of magic before the snake habitat Chamber of Secrets *The de-gnoming scene  *Ron's room *Ginny's embarrassment around Harry Prisoner of Azkaban *Ginny's continued shyness around Harry- again, the start of the slow-burn relationship in the books   *Percy's pompousness (and Fred and George imitating him) *The Big-Head Boy scene Goblet of Fire *The Floo-Powder and the boarded-up fireplace and the Dursley's destroyed living room *The Ton-Tongue Toffees *Meeting Bill and Charlie  *Dueling tables   Order of the Phoenix *"Give her hell from us, Peeves" *"It unscrews the other way" *"Have a biscuit, Potter" *Hogwarts v. Umbridge scenes, including the fireworks and the swamp *I think the scene of Harry destroying Dumbledore's office should be kept in- this shows a darker side of Harry's personality that the movies...

My thoughts on Harry Potter expansions

I'm of the firm opinion that we really don't need a Cursed Child movie- same with any more Fantastic Beasts films.  With the Fantastic Beasts films, it seems like they're just effing with established canon (Dumbledore's long-lost brother, anyone? Not to mention the flashback portrayals of Dumbledore in the franchise don't entirely add up) just to move forward with more sequels. With the Cursed Child , though, it's even worse, as there's no sequels planned but it still manages to turn seven books worth of established facts on their frickin' heads. Let's start with the Time-Turners.  (Strike) 1. It was confirmed in book six that the entire Ministry collection of Time-Turners was destroyed the previous summer . So how was there even one available to use in the play? And don't even get me started on the "going back several years" thing.  And then the ridiculousness that was the "daughter of Voldemort" fracas (strike two). Volde...

State of the MCU- My theories

WandaVision Episode 9 didn't create a Thor: Ragnarok plot hole.  Why didn't Doctor Strange investigate Westview if he said he had a list of people who pose a threat to Earth? 1. Wanda didn't have a threatening motive when she created the sitcom illusion- she created it out of grief. 2. She was very quick to end the illusion when she recognized how she was affecting the other residents. 3. As Agatha Harkness claimed (and I'm paraphrasing), Wanda has the skillset but not the knowledge.  WandaVision will, however, tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , although I'm on the fence as to whether or not Wanda will be the villain in the story. She was reading the Darkhold, or the Book of the Damned, in the post-credits scene. This could mean one of two things: 1. She's reading it to understand it (more on the hero side) 2. She's reading it to study it (more on the villain side)  My theory on Spider-Man: No Way Home is that Wanda's twins are in...

Who, exactly, are Rey's parents?

Thanks to 2019's The Rise of Skywalker , we know that Rey's grandfather is Palpatine (I'm not going to get into the logistics of that here, that's just saying that there's a missing generation between Palpatine and Rey). We got some clues in the first two installments in the sequel trilogy as to who her parents were but they weren't really conclusive. We know that Rey was probably born on Jakku to parents who then sold or abandoned her for scrap, but nothing more conclusive then that.  Which leads us to some other questions: First off, who, exactly, are her parents? And why do they not want to be found out? Which of her parents is the son or daughter of Palpatine? How exactly did her parents meet each other? And some other questions off of this? Which upcoming TV show could explore this? My choice would be the upcoming Book of Boba Fett show, which could see the title character explore Jakku a little further than the movies did. A potential idea for the Ahsoka show

2017's Episode VIII The Last Jedi had an ending which was not only open-ended but also set up a potential narrative point that went untouched in 2019's Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker . I'm talking, of course, about the Canto Bight stablehand that appeared to move a broom with the Force at the very end of VII but wasn't discussed further in IX.  The upcoming Ahsoka show, however, is the perfect opportunity to delve back into the world of Canto Bight. Picture it- Ahsoka Tano senses a Force-sensitive being on this planet and goes to investigate. And the stablehand looks about nine or ten- maybe eleven- so he's just at the point where he's starting to recognize his powers- think young witches and wizards before they're accepted to Hogwarts. If he's eight or nine back in 2017 he's maybe about twelve or thirteen now.

Why I love MCU's next phase so far

1. Introducing new characters First it's Agatha Harkness in WandaVision . Then it's going to be Riri Williams in Ironheart and Kamala Khan (who I've been mistakenly calling Imani in previous posts, so I apologize) in Ms. Marvel and Kate Bishop in Hawkeye and Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk .  Not only are these completely new additions to the MCU cast, they'll also most likely be fleshed out and given backstories and substantial screen time, as well, so hopefully in the future their MCU stories will be as well-known and as detailed as those of Tony Stark or Steve Rogers or Carol Danvers.  2. Potential story expansions for underutilized or largely unknown characters *We first see Natasha Romanoff in Iron Man 2 . We see some of her fighting skills in that same movie. We see some of her backstory in Age of Ultron . And now she's getting a solo film.  *Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson were largely secondary characters through the first three phases and there's still a lo...
